Alkohol Per Krona

Alkohol Per Krona is a project that I’m working on with my friend Fredrik Holmstrom that scans Systembolaget’s (the Swedish government owned chain of liquor stores) website and checks all the prices to find out which beverage you’ll get more alcohol from each spent Swedish krona.
The feature that sets it apart from other similar sites is that you can send a text message and have various results from the database sent back to you, the idea being that you don’t always have access to a computer - such as festivals.
This project let me polish up my Illustrator skills a little bit with the need of icons to reduce the text in the data tables, something I’m slowly learning. I’m still at a really basic level, but it’s great fun.
All in all, it’s a fun project to work on where I’m trying out a lot of new things to improve both usability and eye candy of my work.
